  8. 1. the statistic that impacted me was that 80% of sharks and other large marine animals captured by fisheries are discarded.
    2. A possible solution would be for somebody to find a use for these discarded animals or to release them after they're caught.
    3. This article means to me that we are wasteful in our use and abuse of the marine environment and we need to be careful about the way we use the ocean.

  9. 1. The most interesting fact to me was that 80% of fisheries are fully exploited to depleted
    2. The most reasonable solution is to cut back on the number of ships sent out in the fisheries because it is way over the ammount needed amd another way is to be informed and tell others.
    3. This article did not make me not want to eat fish but instead it help me realize to be informed on what fish to eat because others may be exploited.

  10. 1) No places that are over fished are recovering, and 90% of the stocks of large predatory fish are already gone.
    2) Some possible solutions are safe catch limits, and control on bycatch, protecting there habitat and finally making sure these rules are enforced.
    3) I believe that we use to much of of resources, and that should be strongly regulated. It haunt changed my view on eating fish because I hardly ever eat fish. However, I believe fishing should be cut down so we don't waste our resources.
